Penrith's Christmas Spectacular 2010

was a great success!

The rain didn't stop the people of Penrith coming out on Sunday 28th November to participate in the day of Christmas celebrations.  High Street was filled with market stalls, the Santa Suit Dash saw over 200 Santas complete the course and add a fabulous splash of colour to the  event site.  They were followed by the Christmas Concert that featured not only the fantastic Justice Crew and Lil Justice, but also the beautiful Anja NIssen, the St Marys Brass Band, Hands Heart & Feet drumming and dance troupe, dancers from PAWS and the beautifully costumed Dance Creation.  At the conclusion of the concert, the crowd was entertained by the very colourful and special Christmas Street Parade.

Winners of the Christmas Street Parade  were:
People's Choice:  Dance Creation's 'Santa's Workshop' float
Best Entry:  The Museum of Fire
Best Corporate Entry:  Prima Ballerina & Behind the Mask
Best Community Entry:  Dance Creation
